Okay I know it's a little difficult to get excited about new sonic games these days but I'm quite looking forward to actually getting this one. Anyone else heard of it/plan to get it? |

Pretty cool. However I cannot remember playing a good Sonic Game since Adventure 2 Battle or Sonic Heroes. But this one seems pretty cool. But it still ressembles alot to A2B, I wonder how they'll improve it. Wait & See and I guess and probably worth a try. |

Oh Sonic and the days of Sega Genesis! If I had a game console I would probably get it. |

I've only played Sonic once, and that was for about an hour at my friend's house. I was so bored.. |

I swear sonic games are only for 13 year olds hyped up on energy drinks. How else can you play those games? |

Seriously you found that good? O_o - I'll almost certainly be playing the 2.5d versions of the zones first if not exclusively. Personally i've not overly enjoyed a 3d-based sonic game since Adventure (1). This one has almost certainly been tailored to the older fans though; let's face it, I don't really know anyone my own age who wouldn't like to play an updated version of Sky Sanctuary Zone in 2.5d, cause when we first started playing games sonic on the mega drive was iconic. You young'uns grew up with sonic heroes and shadow the hedgehog. I really do pity you for having that turd given to you as an introduction to the franchise. XD |

I liked Heroes.. But Adventure 1 and 2 (most 1) will always be my favorites. Still got them both with my Dreamcast somewhere.. but this franchise is well past it's prime. I don't own a system.. but not like I would be playing any *new* sonic game anyway.. my faith has left the building. |

I think what appealed me what the fact that you had 4 different teams. Yeh, that was cool. |

The concept for heroes was good yes, much like Knuckles + Chaotix on the 32X extension for the Mega Drive but unfortunately it was riddled with bugs and while, as with all sonic gaemes, it excelled in it's music soundtrack and level design, it just wasn't cemented together in a way which made the bugs "overlook-able" (<-- bad english there XD). That said I do own Sonic Heroes for the PC and the original Xbox but after falling through the ground enough times it was put back on my game shelf to collect dust XD. Sonic Generations is likely to be a hit though, even if there are a substantial amount of bugs in it (let's face it, there will be), unless it goes the way Sonic 360 in the way that the game itself was good but again you fell through floors and the loading screens took up the majority of the game time, the ability to play through "re-imagined" classic zones like Sky Sanctuary, Casino Night and so forth would most likely make it worth playing anyway ![]() |
