So, I didn't notice this project until just a week or so ago. Everything I've seen tells me this is gonna be a really cool remake if they ever finish it. Anyone know anything about it or involved in the beta? http://www.blackmesasource.com/ |

It's been in development for years and years and years. Nobody knows when they will finally finish it. |

It was supposed to be released at the end of 09 I think, maybe it was last year... Either way, no news since saying it's been delayed yet again. Been winning awards since 05 even though there hasn't so much as been a public beta of a world. When it gets released, it'll apparently be for free. Their Twitter last updated just under 2 years ago, and their forums don't get much use. It's starting to be vaporware, but it's got to be close to being finished..
