http://store.steampowered.com There are going to be lots of games on sale on Steam from June 30th (today) to July 10th! ![]() Remember, it's best to wait to buy the packs (of which there are many) until the last day of the sale, just in case some of the games in the packs that you really want get discounted, making buying the pack needless. I'll try to keep the thread updated with the day's deals. Prices vary by region, of course, so I'll be using the US currency (which includes Canada). Games in BOLD are ones that I'd recommend getting. Spoiler for old sales:
July 10th Sales Just Cause 2 (Franchise Sale)- $4.99 Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (Franchise Sale)- $19.99 Fable III- $24.99 Battlefield: Bad Company 2- $5.00 Sanctum- $3.75 Fallout: New Vegas (Franchise Sale)- $14.99 The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings- $33.49 Grand Theft Auto IV- $9.99 Two Worlds II- $17.00 Portal 2- $24.99 Total War: Shogun 2- $29.99 Terraria- $4.99 Boderlands- $7.50 Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II: Retribution- $7.49 Magicka- $3.39 |

I'm thinking of getting Oblivion and BIT.TRIP Runner looks interesting. Terraria is on sale, and some of the Packs looks like a good deal. One thing I wonder is if they make more money during this time of the year, or if they make less money because of all the sales they have. ![]() Also, they are having a contest like the Treasure hunt, with prizes equaling 3 tickets each. Right now I have my eye on some of them, but not all of them. ![]() |

Dat saving. If I wasn't only missing 3 games from that pack I'd have snapped it up straight away. As it is right now all I really want is Portal 2 so I'm gonna hold out and see if it gets a bigger discount on a daily deal, if not I'm grabbing that pack on the 10th. |

I don't know if it's worth it to wait for packs. I'd just get a game when it's discounted unless there are a bunch of games from one developer/publisher/pack that you don't have. But, I also have a lot of the games I already want and I never got a lot of packs. By the way, wasn't there some fuss over EA not selling future games on Steam anymore? Anyone know anything about this? (I bought MoH since it was just $11; just want to keep in the know on EA and Steam Relations for things like BF3 and other games) |

Anyone know anything about this? (I bought MoH since it was just $11; just want to keep in the know on EA and Steam Relations for things like BF3 and other games) It's because of this that they might not be selling any more of EA's games on Steam. Here are today's deals (in USD) July 1st Sales (Happy Canada Day everyone!) Total War: SHOGUN 2 - $29.99 Call of Duty: Black Ops - $40.19 Grand Theft Auto Classics - $7.49 DUNGEONS - Steam Special Edition - $13.59 Devil May Cry 4 - $9.99 Just Cause 2 (Franchise Sale) - $4.99 Railworks 2 - $8.74 Braid - $2.49 Spacechem - $5.09 Hamilton's Great Adventure - $4.99 The Heroes Pack - $4.99 Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Franchise Sale) - $2.49 I would recommend getting Grand Theft Auto Classics, Braid, Spacechem and SW:KOTOR. Black Ops is a good fps if you're thinking of getting a new fps and liked MW2. |

If you're thinking of getting the GTA pack and already have some of the later ones Rockstar has made GTA 1 and 2 free here http://www.rockstargames.com/classics/ . Already bought KOTOR today, nothing else takes my fancy. Black Ops is still way too expensive to catch my attention. They've pretty much just made it the same price as a normal full price game. |

King Kulla wrote: Thanks Tim, I forgot to update it this morning. ![]() No problem, deals like these I'm all over them, but we both forgot about the Camp Activity deals. Some of them are in it, but some aren't. Spoiler for Camp activities for 30 June:
Spoiler for Camp activities for 1 July:
Alien Breed: Impact is $4.99 and is similar to Alien Swarm and Dwarf!? is also $4.99. I have no idea what Dwarfs!? is about but it's from the same makers as Killing Floor so it should be fun. ![]() While you might not care about these, the more of these activities you get, the more tickets you get, and the more DLC you can get. You also get entered for the GRAND PRIZE GIVEAWAY! 100 people are going to get the TOP 10 Games on their wishlist (you need a minimum of 10 games to qualify) and each activity you get increases your chances. EDIT: Just found a video for Dwarfs!? |

Only bought Puzzle agent so far cause i heard it was like Prof layton but westernized. With that said if you like adventure games the telltale pack is well worth it at £30 that's hundreds of hours of gameplay. Might get there back to the future games too just cause back to the future is awesome. Also finally got around to playing the first F.E.A.R and i gotta say despite the graphics looking a bit dated that game scares the **** out of me. edit: I actually like puzzle agent but I'm going to have a moan for a moment and it might warn people that this game can be frustrating. It's a bit **** retarded when a japanese made game (prof layton) can handle the English language better than an American made one: ![]() NOW READ THOSE RULES. IF YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE A SODDING PUZZLE BE VERY VERY CLEAR. Here are the answers: ![]() *NEXT* to each other? There not **** next to each other! That's not a clever puzzle that's not a good puzzle that's *******. That's saying **** it to the puzzle we'll just be deliberately misleading to throw him off the scent. If they WAS lined up next to each other that puzzle would of been **** easy and that's why they've deliberately been tricky with there wording. If your puzzle is too **** easy don't include it don't **** me off by giving me crap clues. |

Got BC2 gotta say you don't fully appreciate what a big ol HDTV does for you until it's gone. Picked it up cause the 360 playerbase is dwindling a bit but trying to play it on this smaller PC monitor is a nightmare. Ping is constantly at like 150 as well which doesn't seem good...but everyone else seems to be sitting at that as well. :s |

I have a 17" 1440x900 and I can snipe people with just ironsights. |

July 3rd Sales Torchlight - $2.99 Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (Franchise Sale) - $19.99 Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 - $19.99 Transformers War for Cybertron - $7.49 Two Worlds II - $17.00 Kane & Lynch 2 Dog Days - $4.99 Tropica 3 Steam Special Edition (Franchise Sale) - $3.74 Defense Grid: The Awakening - $2.49 Sniper Ghost Warrior - $4.99 Arma II (Franchise Sale) - $4.99 Men of War: Assault Squad - $8.74 Dragon Age II (Franchise Sale) - $35.99 And for the Camp Activites... Spoiler for Camp activities for 3 July:
Flight Control HD is $1.25. The Polynomial - Space of the music is $3.40. A.R.E.S.: Extinction Agenda is $4.99. and Iron Grip: Warlord is only $4.99. The only game I know about is Flight Control when I played it on my iPad so I'm not sure how different it is from the HD version. The Polynomial is a cool music driven game with really cool graphics. A.R.E.S looks like a Megaman type game. Iron Grip, from the Steam description, is a game that "combines real-time strategy and first-person shooter elements to add to anew twist to playing war." Men of War looks like wither a CoD type shooter, or a top-down shooter, which either way looks fun. |

Picked up Torchlight. Very very similar to D2, although it seems much easier than the D2 single player. Haven't played much of it yet, but from what I've played it's quite an enjoyable little hack'n'slash. Shame about the lack of multiplayer, but from what I hear Torchlight 2 will support multiplayer and is shaping up to be on par with D3 at least, so I figured I'd get the first game under my belt and for £2.59 I couldn't say no. |

Redeemed my tickets for the TF2 glasses. Only other thing I might want are the snorkels for Portal 2. Good deals so far. Think I've bought five or so games. |
