After taking a long break from them, I started playing Most Wanted and Shift today, my two favorites. If your a fan whats your favorite installment and why?

They all suck after Most Wanted.

I've played 5 (Porsche), 6 (HP2), and 8 (U2). I think my favorite was Underground 2, since I can just get on that highway in free mode and hold down the gas when I'm bored. Porsche Unleashed had better progression though.

Most memorable? NFS: Most Wanted.
Most fun? NFS: Hot Pursuit (new one)
Most nostalgic: NFS: Hot Pursuit 2
Most time spent on: NFS: Underground 2

I love the NFS series, but holy ****, NFS: Shift sucked ***.

Burnout is also better, as far as open-world goes.

Really I like Shift because of how realistic it is, and the emigration of the cockpit view? What didn't you like baout it?

My favourite is NFS2 because it is the only one i played more than a few hours probably and the new Hot Pursuit is too expensive. I might have actually played High Stakes a bit idk, but all the others if at all would have been briefly at friends' houses

i never got into racing games. keep making a right turn just isn't my thing.

I'm with ya, I couldn't play like a NASCAR game but this is different like street racing. :P 8)

NASCAR is 500 laps of left turns. The NFS series has way more diverse tracks to drive on.

I had Underground and Hot Pursuit for the PS2, and those got played quite a bit.

I got the iOS games when they were on sale, so Shift, Hot Pursuit, and Undercover. They work quite well on the platform, and I've beaten each one at least once. I think I'm just missing a few races in Hot Pursuit, but that's it.

Just really Underground 2 on PC.

I love it, even though I'm not that into racing games.
