Eh...might try this out again. Only problem is I won't get my replacement graphics card until Tuesday. My integrated graphics card has a hard time handling the game and provides for some bad lag. Still love these opportunities. Hope they keep doing them until I get level 70 for free. ![]() |

I'll pass. Again. I can't help but wonder why, the very same company that's *still* selling COD4 at full price (i think? it was doing it for far to **** glong) is throwing out so many free trials. Maybe theres hope after all, perhaps people are intelligent enough to avoid this garbage. Amusing that it's a trial for the single player as well. It's only 3 hours long so you can easily complete that I'd imagine. |

2nd dlc The next map pack for Modern Warfare 2 is still in development by developer Infinity Ward (what’s left of it anyway) and due for release later this year. No shock there right? This week, during an investor conference call, Activision’s Thomas Tippl confirmed that they publisher is looking to release the DLC “in the back half of the year.” Once again, it appears the DLC will see an exclusive release window on the Xbox 360, followed by a later release on the PC and PlayStation 3. Pricing for the second round of DLC hasn’t been revealed, but don’t expect Activision to back off that $15 mark. Tippl stated: “the $15 price point has still provided a fantastic value to gamers… we think that has worked.” Considering the controversy surrounding the controversy surrounding the ‘Stimulus Pack’, and its use of recycled maps, how well do YOU think the $15 price worked? |

I come from the era where the players would make maps for games, so I don't think maps should cost something. I also don't think that the players should be denied the ability to make their own maps. All developers need to wake the **** up and stop console-ifying games. |

I think it worked very well. I think morons bought it, got ripped right off but they dont care cause they got there maps. There that narrow minded and short sighted. The same maps which last year where cheaper and before that where free after a period of time and before that free completely. Same as they didnt care about the price increase, same as they didnt care about features being stripped out to give activision more control to do just this. These sheep dont seem to realize/care that the price is increasing consistently now. Arcade titles are up to 1200 as well. Microsoft was considering upping the price of Live as well. But these morons do not care. Because there morons. If activisions smart they'll go for $20 on the next one. Quote: All developers need to wake the **** up and stop console-ifying games. I do have to disagree with that tho. IW was a PC dev after all and it's the publisher whos forcing this not the devs. Some console devs are very good with there freebies; http://www.giantbomb.com/littlebigplanet-2-debut-trailer/17-2452/ Possibly the greatest trailer ever as well..i love that lil music playing. do do do dodd... |

Song from the trailer.. But yea, the prices that you console gamers are paying are outrageous. And thanks to you paying those stupid prices, the developers are carrying the prices over to the PC side as well. Unfortunately, nobody seems to give a crap enough to not pay the high prices. People sign petitions and complain, but they end up caving in. At any rate, paying $15-20 for a stupid map pack is ridiculous. Why pay for something that any modder would have given to you for free? I can maybe see a $5 charge, but considering the price that the game starts out at, I envy the money grubbing thieves who can suck up people's cash so easily. Just wish that more companies would take Valve's approach to gaming. They provide for the community. The community creates maps (among other things), and they will sometimes package the most popular maps with the official game. That, my friends, is the way it should be done. Not to mention all of the free updates, DLCs, and other offers they have through Steam. |
