a week or so ago ncsoft revealed this teaser of the EVENTUAL expansion for aion: the tower of eternity. they call it "Visions" or some cheesy thing like that, but its making me happy. just for your info, most of that is ingame performance, not cg movie, just from unique camera angles |

Yeah i saw this when it came out and was impressed. Then they backpedaled like mad and said it's what they hope to do and not everything you see is guaranteed or whatever. So I'm not holding my breath. ![]() |

basically its an enhanced weather system, enhanced lighting detail, a swimming system + underwater areas, player made buildings/towns in a designated area, new skills and weapon types, and apparently the ability to raid into the town anchored to the previously inaccessabel other race's headquarters to destroy their homesteads with collossus-like beings and zepelins O.O aion has the graphical thing going for it, so it keeps going in that direction. (i particularly like the sorcerer throwing people on the ground. caster + melee = lolwut?) |

looks impressive alright. as for the caster throwing people around it looks almost like you'd have to do that alot to clear space/time to pull off a huge spell like that if your working solo. |
