So i got it. Anyone else given it a try?
I'll say this;
Story thus far is ****. Awful.
Graphics are average.
Driving cars and things is right out of GTA: Vice City.
A.I is fairly poor too.
In fact you can tell this game was on a tight budget. The missions though and the whole way they've got it set up is awesome. When you cut the terrible story, ignore the characters and just get down to it all you are is a terrorist and your one objective is to take down the EDF.
You've got missions, side missions and sorta random events that come up that you can choose to take part in. You've got listnings for key EDF buildings scatterd across your map that you can choose to destroy or ignore.
It's all about causing as much chaos and damage as possible. And quickly because once reinforcements for the EDF arrive you've had it.
Most importantly though you've got complete freedom in how you do it. I took down an EDF building yesterday by slapping explosives onto my car, drove it straight through a wall and smashed into the target building leapt out and blew it. Managed to get in and out before the EDF realized anything.
Just now i was playing and the EDF was holding some people hostage inside a building at first i tried going in direct and shooting my way through. That didn't work, the EDF got reinforcements in to fast and the hostages both died.
So i tried again, this time i drove the car through the wall of the building, killing the EDF inside with the hostages but also killed off a hostage myself. broke the remaining one out and we sped off being chased by EDF, he took up the mounted gun and i was driving, very chaotic chases when you **** them off enough reminds me of the old GTA games, anyway i flipped the car killing the remaining hostage. Failed again.
So i tried a third time, this time taking it slower. I sneak around the building throwing some explosives down around key parts of the building, by now i know where the EDF are and where the hostages are so i can place them in places i know will take down some if not all of the EDF and leave the hostages safe. Blow the building taking down most of the EDF, kill the remaining few, free the hostages and get out. Still got chased but pulled it off this time.
The options and ways to do these missions is massive. Games a lot of fun if your creative about it. Definitly recommend you rent it if not buy.
