Have you played any star trek games in the past? About 6-8 years ago Activision had the license to make trek games, they were the best publisher for them including many hits including Armada I/II, and the Star Fleet Command series.

I know there are some of us who will be getting it. It looks like it'll be a good game. It's the type of Star Trek game I've always wanted, bridge based strategy, ship-to-ship combat, and land based combat. Throw in exploration and it's very star treky. The graphics also look good.

For anyone who watched the whole 45 minute presentation there was a question about hardware requirements. Basically the lead dev had said that they are going to be aiming to get this to work on the most amount of machines possible, just like WoW does.

Pfft, I would have to buy another computer to play WoW... I mean, my computer cost around £700-£800 and it is pretty decent. Graphics card, Sound card. Can't play CS:S either which sucks because whenever you host events its on Source. :?

YES. No if's and's or but's. I really love Star Trek and I think it'd be a great MMO.

Meh... I think Star Trek would make a decent FPS, but I think devs have already failed at that.

It'd make a good game, if done right. However I don't think i'd ever see myself playing it for the pure reason it's Star Trek. And I'm above star trek.

WoW doesn't have high spec requirements so you must have over payed by a lot. My PC cost £350 two years ago and I just bought a £60 radeon graphics card wow works fine on it.

Yeah, £8.99 a month. Slightly less if you pay for more than one month at a time.

they did that, the game wasn't too bad but it's nothing mind blowing. you basically can use weapons from the show but it wasn't terrible. just after you played it once or twice you're just going through the motions
