i managed to get the game for the PC and trying it out it isn't too bad. right not i'm at the berserker part near the beginning.

pros: mouse and keyboard for me better control because i can spin around and be more accurate in my firing, looks good and having campaign co-op, dialog is good for a newbie who hasn't played the game before.

cons: the game makes me dizzy sometimes :( since i can spin my mouse around really quick the screen ends up being a big blur and sometimes it hurts my eye so i take rather regular breaks. some of the night time portions the screen gets so dark it's hard to see and i can't make it brighter or anything :/
it took me a whole freaking hour to actually log in and play the game. in order to save the game you have to log onto live. problem was i had no idea what the hell i was doing. turns out i had to update live 4 times so that it could get patched up and everything. made the account which took a lot longer than it should have (silver member). if i want to be a gold member i have to pay, umm yeah no thanks for now.


just getting started all i can say is, that berserker is driving me nuts cuz she doesn't like to crash into the door GAH!

well it turns out i could change the brightness but i had to be on the main menu which during gameplay i can't :-[.
i've almost finished the game ( i think) i'm on the train fighting the big boss. having a little problem killing him since DOM likes to run into shadows and get murdered by bats...

That's General RAAM. The last boss. After you kill him, it's game over.

yeah i beat it yesterday. the big lizard with the giant cannon was there at the end of act 4.

Spoiler for act 4:

basically after you get onto the APC you get stuck on a draw bridge. you have to restore power and of course the locus set a trap. after you cleared the area you had to connect 2 transformers in which you decide to let the big lizard to it. so you fight and after a while lure him onto the transformers in which he gets zapped and you get to the train

If theres one thing i hope for gears 2 it's that the boss battles are better. Luring the brumak? bleh. Making the spider back off?

Bleh.

The most epic boss fight was Ram and to be honest it sucked. Really hope they up it and improve them.

On Gears 2 Campaign preview they showed Marcus killing a Brumak atop a car/tank thing. They didn't lure it and after they kill it, the thing's face get's blown off.

Also, rumor has it, there's a huge battle-royale at the end. Dunno, though. Heard from a friend. :|

And all he does is shoot it with a chain turrent, doesn't look hard.

I would like to see proof of the battle royale, although it would be fun.
