Only 4.99 for Episode One, all you need to play a ton of Source mods. Great game to begin with, though I'd recommend at least doing Half Life 2 before, so you can understand the storyline. If nothing else, you'd get the chance to check out a **** load of free mods.

Might be worth it if you read this before Monday.

From my memory, there was nothing all that wrong with EP1, I'd say they both stood even and had the same quality of HL2 anyway.

Episode 1 was short, there wasnt any hunters, and only one strider.
Episode 2 was longer, it had hunters, ALOT of striders, and you dont have to be underground like 1-2 hours.
