Soo who's played the demo?

I found it weird, the combat was..sluggish, if i swung left and then right immediately it wouldn't respond fast enough.

It could really have done with a combat tut and a bit more info about the skill tree cause i had no idea what i was doing. However, lets face it the games about dungeon crawling and getting loot and it did well in that, by the end of my playthrough i was level 8-9 and had this sexy golden dragon armour stuff. 8) Oh and a big warhammer that glowed blue.

Seems to follow World of Warcrafts sorta loot system, grey loot is average, then you have green, then blue not sure if it goes any higher though.

Story was confusing and made little sense to me, boss fights where kinda cool..wasn't a fan of those big robots cause they kept nocking me over (which was flipping annoying) and the small white robot bosses i found myself flipping them into the air and then just letting loose with my UBERR pistols that i found.

Think I'll get it although not sure just yet, would of been nice if they included online co-op in the demo but meh whatever, anyone else sold on it, theres 4 player co-op in the main game so i wouldn't mind hooking up with some people to play through.

I thought the dmo was quite nice, and generous for being a demo. I found the combat controls to be very easy. You could read the Advanced combat controls and everything would be much simpler too.

Although, I have to agree that the story was very confusing. I had no clue what was going on half the time. The graphics were great but could be shoddy at times, like the blowing snow, it looked horrible.

And I loved the whole class and WoW related things, it made things a lot easier for me.

Overall, I' thinking of buying it.

I loved the demo, it was quite lengthly for a demo aswell. I was shocked at the graphics, they're quite nice. The big thing is that the graphics were a bit choppy at times, but that's alright since it's a demo, the demo isn't the real thing. :D

I found the controls quite nice, like the sword and the pistols, they're quite nice. I found some cool weapons along the way, such as two new pistols that shoot big globs of energy, a warhammer and a staff with a scythe-like blade on the end of it.

I think I may get this game aswell, it looks great.

I was amazed at how much some of the press hated this game. I loved the demo, it was really good for one of those hack n slash games, and those pistols were just epic. You can jump over the robots hammer smash and roll away from his foot too you know. Also, one of the rooms I entered had a 30 second timer that counted down, but nothing happened after the time was spent. Does anybody know what that meant? At first I thought it was the time for the demo, but it only ended at that one door. (At which I was like "NOO! It's over!")

I found that room, i believe you're supposed to kill as many as you can in that time limit. They'll keep spawning till the time runs out at which point they stop spawning. I got some decent loot out of that room.

I downloaded it and played it today, I had to turn it off, because the awfully shoddy camera control annoyed me, the story(?) made me bloody confused, and the combat system is ridiculous.

One to miss I reckon.

I think if you press back (might be another button) you can change the camera to a different one, i found the second one to be much better..although it still had troubles. The combat took some time to adjust to as well.

Update:

Went through it again, took the time to look at the advanced controls, bit confusing cause they wasn't very detailed but i managed to get them down.

There basic i admit and I'd hope you can build on them in the full game but there pretty decent, being able to fire out an energy blast from your sword and watching them go flying is pretty cool.

Payed much more attention to the combat tree and managed to get my Spider (the bot on your back) alive and kicking, the one i used seemed to act like a bomb, it'd drop down and blow up. XD

Theres some interesting stuff in it but you sorta have to study it first.

I downloaded it because I was bored even though it didn't look like my type of game. But, I was pleasantly surprised; the controls and combat were a lot easier to use than I expected and the equipment and skill upgrades were very nice. The skill tree looked a little strange at first bu it really makes perfect sense, each skill bubble has a requirement until you can begin adding skill points to it, usually that requirement was level 6 in the skill above it. Also, for the camera you can change to close up views by hitting up on the D-Pad and far back views by hitting down on the D-Pad. The LB button also centers the camera.

Just spent a little while playing it now. Didn't try it for that long but from what I saw it looks pretty fun. The whole class system seems good, the skills tree looks interesting as well. But the combat seemed a little.. unpolished to me. Especially the melee fighting. Camera can be annoying as well at times as was previously said. So used to using the right stick to move the camera, my guy was running along swinging his sword around all the time :$.

I think I'll buy it when It comes out anywho.

I like it too.
It reminds me of world of warcraft.
I like the Defender and commando.
I didnt like bio engineer and berserk cause they are weak.
