Well we traded assassins creed (that is, me and my brother) for "Just Cause".
I can't say its a great game, It has a gigantic world, yes, but it deffinitely lacks a good plotline...Tbh, it reminded me frequently of GTA apart from the fact that GTA had a good story mode. Graphics are brilliant, yes, but still does not make up for the bad gameplay. For instance- you can't run very fast which is strange considering the character's unnatural ability to jump about 5 feet and more in the air which is slightly annoying. When you are driving the car/bike will just go straight through vines and things without hitting them or anything! (the world is mainly forest) And also, there is a car that can shoot bullets and missles. Sure theres nothing wrong with bullets cos you could just lean out the window with a gun in your hand while driving the car precariously but when you shoot missles they do not appear to come from anywhere noticable on the car! You player also has access to a grappling gun (this I thought of as pretty cool
) and with it you can grapple onto cars and helicoptres and planes and the like but for instance, when running up a huge mountain or hill, which if i might add seemed to happen quite a lot, you would have thought oh yah-- I'll just whip out my grappling gun and shoot at a ledge higher up but you thought wrong! This will not work! But why not? Seriously...wth? But this- uhh this is just umbeleivable. So, you find yourself down on your luck walking down a road without any means of transport, but then a helicoptre comes flying over above you! Brilliant- you equip you grapple and aim straight at the helicoptre and fly up after it whilst holding tightly onto your handy tool. Then you get up onto the helicoptre and jump onto the TAIL. Then you actually hold onto it! Seriously? Then if you thought it couldn't get any more unrealistic guess what?-- (Y) Enter veichle (hmm?)
So you tap (Y) and SOMEHOW you jump, against the laws of gravity and goodness knows how many other physical laws, THROUGH the blades of the helicoptre INTO the pilot seat! Lol, I found this funny but I mean wtf? Isn't this supposed to be a realistic game which was given 9/10 by the official Xbox360 magazine and is recommended over the new oblivion. Overall I wouldn't recomend it, but for those who like a crazy stunt-filled game by all means buy it. Im only pointing out the bad aspects of this game.
So, just saying, I would not reccomend this game. This is just my view, is there anyone here who has this game and would like to say anything?
