After the controversy with the firing of one of their writers, I do not want to use gamespot. Apart from gamespot, though, I don't know about many sites related to gaming.

So which sites do you normally use for your gaming reviews or articles?

IGN. Good reviews and stuff.

http://www.gamerankings.com/

It takes all reviews from the big sites and throws out an average. If I'm really interested i can click a few of the sites it has listed and read their thoughts on it properly as well.

I agree here.

Although I usually use IGN as my close second.

I love IGN, I always use that site. The site has great and honest reviews. I never liked GameSpot even before they fired Jeff Gerstmann for Kane and Lynch review.

So do all of my friends.

I'm still using GameSpot, although the whole situation was pathetic on their part. There reviews are usually right, so one incident isn't gonna make me stop going there. The guy didn't deserve to fired though... that was completely uncalled for.

IGN is pretty good. I sometimes watch X-play for reviews, previews, and gaming news.

Rofl, X-Play. They're too concerned with making wise-crack jokes than actually reviewing the games. Seriously, their review for The Darkness made me never watch them again.

IGN.com rocks, use it all the time.

Wish Gamespot stopped firing people. IGN is the best for now, though Gamespot still has correct reviews.

It got worse. Staff members are quitting now.

Either use IGN.com or metacritic.com

I'm done with x-play. They don't even do reviews anymore...

IGN, Gamespot, and Kotaku are what I normally use.

X-Play has probably some of the most accurate reviews, and the jokes just make it entertaining when they review a crappy game.
