1. Search everything, such as desks, corpses, and crates.
2. When you get the camera, try to take 4-5 pictures of an enemy as they are running up to attack you. Taking pictures gives you major bonuses against that type of enemy, depending on the research level.
3. If you're low on health/ammo, try to lure enemies to a Vita Chamber and just bash them with your wrench until you die. You'll respawn at the Chamber and can continue the fight.
4. Don't destroy Security Cameras and Turrets. Instead, shock them and hack them to make them allies.
5. Lastly, don't harvest the Little Sisters. That's just mean.

Yes, and if you harvest even ONE little sister, you end up with the "evil" of the two endings.

Here's a tip some people don't know: Use the freezing plasmid on anything you can hack and it makes it much easier.

Also, I would emphasize again to take 4-5 pictures per Splicer.

I read somewhere that there were 3 endings.

There were a couple of parts where I jumped out of my chair, mainly enemies sneaking up behind me then smacking me in the head with a metal pipe... Silent Hill 2 is still the scariest game I've ever played.

In System Shock 2, the developers implemented interesting triggered scares; whenever you come around the corner something pops out or something makes an eerie noise or something completely unexpected explodes and freaks you out.

Do they have that in BioShock or was it scrapped? I heard that it was scary at first but towards the end it deteriorated into a usual horror shooter.

System Shock and BioShock are similar in the scare department. Of course, that would make sense seeing as how they are both by the same developer.

The scariest part for me personally was in the Dental area.

System Shock 2 IS BioShock. They just changed the psy powered to plasmids, hybrids to splicers, cybernetic modules to ADAM, etc. You still have a wrench, the ability to hack, turrets, respawn points, etc.

So if your PC sucks or you can't afford a 360, play System Shock 2.

for me it's more of the "where are they" and suddenly they bash you in the head. any tips on killing big daddy?

I found Big Daddy's easiest with Shock -> Shotgun combo.

Works great with Electric Buck or Explosive Buck.

Armour piercing anything works great as well.

I usually set the Big Daddy's on fire then unloaded armour piercing machine gun ammo on him. But there's plenty of ways. When you need to reload, stun him with the lightning, that gives you a little time. Just keep backing away from the ones with drill arms, and keep moving from side to side with the ones with guns.
