Post subject:  Guitar Hero III - Song Discussion
What are the big issues about some of the songs? Lots of my friends say that GH2 was better, I think not. GH3 has some good songs, but hardly any bad ones.

I don't really like the songs that'll wear out your hands by hitting up and down on the strings. I'd rather just chill and play.

What do you think is the best songs of GH3?

My list has to be

#1: Miss Murder by AFI in 2006. (FIRST EVER EMO SONG IN GH!)
#2: Even Flow by Pearl Jam in 1991 (I grew up with this song. :D)
#3: Barracuda by Heart in 1977
#4. My Name Is Jonas by Weezer in 1994 (I grew up with this song too :D but I love Weezer songs :P)
#5. One by Metallica (This song is sad :()

That's my first 5, what do you like of all GH3?

i am impressed by those who played dragonforce
the devil went to georiga is nice but insane

those two are rather hard wonder which one is harder.

all they need now is somebody to figure out how to download songs onto the game and let people play it

Pretty sure GH2 had MCR. Although I'm not sure.

Anyways on with the topic: I think the songs are mostly rubbish. Don't actually like any enough to warrant me wanting to rush out and play it.

Gh3 songtrack is way better than any other music game for me personally. I already had almost all of these songs on my iPod already.

My top 5 are:

1) Knights of Cydonia
2) Cult of Personality
3) One
4) F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X
5) Cliffs of Dover

I like both GH2 and GH3 about equally.

This list isn't perfectly accurate, as I don't have my 360 atm :-({|= :cry:

Favorites (no particular order):
Cliffs of Dover
My Name is Jonas
Paint it Black
Lay Down
When You Were Young
Through the Fire and Flames (not even close to actually beating it, but it's fun to play through in practice mode)

Least Favorites:
1) Kool Thing (please, someone shoot me... ](*,) )
2) Raining Blood
3) Barracuda (Didn't like the Heart song on GH2 either. Curse their obsession with triplets! :x )

I'm pretty sure Ram Jam isn't on the track list unless I'm completely blind. :?
