...Enough to assault his Mother and a Deputy.

An Indian River County youth has been accused of assaulting his mother and attacking police, all because he was ordered to stop playing Halo 3.

According to TCPalm, trouble began when the youth (whose name and age cannot be stated for legal reasons) was told by his mother to turn off his Xbox 360 as it was getting late.

After he refused, his mother took his “air card” (Wi-Fi adaptor) from the 360, preventing him from playing online and prompting a fit of rage that would see the child frantically search through the house, before punching his mum in the face.

The kid then retreated to his room, but soon had to deal with local Sheriff’s deputies, whom his mum had called following the assault.

The deputies entered his room using a key kept by the mother, but also fell foul to the youth’s rage: he managed to punch one deputy square in the face before being restrained and handcuffed.

He would later be turned over to the state juvenile authorities of charges of battery-domestic violence and battery on a law enforcement officer.

Geese halo 3's not even that great (probably cuz I don't got xbox live). More people do weird stuff when more violent games come out.

Wow the kid is a **** retard. Probably some 40 year old loser living with is mom.

- *the loser gets angry and makes a poor attempt to his mother*

Mostly parents fault, I mean how'd hell they can let their "kid" treat them like crap?

Probably spoilt throughout his life. Kids need to be disciplined.

However, I think his mother decided to start doing it a little too late.

Halo 3 Xbox Live is wicked addicting, though. My parents have now set limits for myself because I've stayed up countless nights playing Halo 3 too late. I have a sense of sympathy, though, unlike the person mentioned in this article. I did realize that I needed to stop and limit myself .. And I never punched my mother or a deputy sherif in the face .. I would never do that. I haven't played for a while so far, also. :)

Games can be very addictive and it doesn't benifit you at all or very little. Instead of playing Halo 3 for hours during the night I was able to read a whole book the past couple days, and it was good .. I enjoyed it!

Nothing to do with Halo 3 tbh. He's just a bad tempered runt. Probably got anger issues, his mother PROBABLY should of picked up on it when he was screaming at the tv like oh so many halo players do.

Watch, in a few days, there will be anti-gaming riots consisting purely of mothers who are too drunk most of the time to control there kids.
