Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is $7.49 this weekend (and free to try out until Sunday), so if you don't have it yet it may be worth checking out.

Great turnout this week, and we had a spontaneous winner since the turnout was one of the best I've seen in ages! A full server and 11 people in Mumble. Very happy to see this turnout :D

For the next ~9 hours, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive will be 66% off, or 5.10 USD.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/730/ for anyone interested.

Keep in mind, the Steam Summer Sale is going on right now, so be sure to check out deals and snag anything else that might be fun! I'm definitely interested in trying a L4D2 game if we can arrange it, as we can get up to 8 people on a server without mods. Pretty standard for a PC Gaming Night, though some nights it'd be luck of the draw for who gets to play...

Why can't it look like CS:GO might win the week I'm *NOT* here, instead of the week I am :(

CS:GO is 66% off for the next day (two, technically) at 5.10 USD, and since it's looking likely to be the game of the week for this week, it would be a good time to get a copy :D.

Well, TF2 is completely free now, and HL2:DM used to be free. Quite fun, and a huge community for TF2. Take a vote, and we might have it this week :). It'll be fun having new players around.

This week (for the next two weeks, actually), Origin is doing a deal on Humble Bundle. You also get Steam keys for a lot of them, too, so that's cool.

Anywho, $1 or more gets you everything except Battlefield 3 and Sims 3 + dlc, so that's a great deal. $5 (currently) gets you BF3 and Sims 3 if you're interested.

Just thought I'd let people know.

HL2DM was pretty fun tonight, one thing that I noticed is that you could add a steam connect link to the main post so that people can just click it and be in game straight away without having to add the server to their favorites or entering it into the console. Not sure if you guys are using a different port on the TF2 server but here it is steam://connect/209.160.21.177:27017

When we play CS:GO, can we NOT do GunGame(Arms Race)? Only the best players are able to get kills in it because the weapons are controlled. Could we do a bomb, hostage, or just normal deathmatch, games that allow us to choose our weapon?

So, how was the gamemode last night for people? I think adding the bots in is helpful, same with TF2, just so we're not killing two people over and over again (if it's a slow week). Seemed like quite a bit of action, and lots of kills!

I liked it. It was a good change up from gun game, but either mode works for me. The bots are good to throw in, too.

Yea, the bots definitely helped.

I liked the DM better than Gun Game. I actually got 2nd once, amazingly. I think a hostage might be an interesting twist sometime. Maybe not the whole night, but one or two full games(I think it's like first to 10 points or something).
