Hello everyone, we are looking for two new writers. Those writers will be specalist positions on the economy and the ever changing universe of Runescape PvP. If you're interested in either of these areas please read on.

Economy Specialist

Informer is looking for someone with an immense knowledge of the workings of the Runescape economy. Merchanting experience will be taken as an advantage. Analytical skills of the Runescape economy in general and relating to updates released will play a large role. In this role you will cover general trends and odditys in the Runescape economy, how an update can effect the economy, and money management tips for the general population.

For your application please include:
  • Forum name.
  • Runescape name
  • Location (timezone/country)
  • How long have you been playing Runescape?
  • Merchanting experience and if any, on what scale did you merchant?
  • Economics experience.
  • Any experience with Excel or equivilent.
  • A 500 - 1500 word article on the trends and anomalies of August 2009 on the Runescape market.

PvP Specialist

Informer is looking for someone with a vast knowledge of the PvP system of Runescape. Active use of PvP is almost a requirement. In this role you will cover updates involving the PvP system, provide general articles about PvP, and should be able to tie in the large scope of PvP in Runescape.

For your application please include:
  • Forum name.
  • Runescape name
  • Location (timezone/country)
  • How long have you been playing Runescape?
  • PvP experience (how long, been a part of any clans, etc...)
  • A 500 - 1500 word article on the effect of 26k-ing (as it was) on Runescape in general.

I would probably apply for the Economy specialist if there was a deadline extension, considering I have multiple things for summer school work due that day.

He doesn't have to wait until then to announce the new Informer people. I got accepted sometime during the week, Monday or Tuesday. He also has to read each and everyone one then decide, so it might be a week or so beyond the deadline before we all know.
