Oh sure, i finally get with the times and get forced to have this ******* vista crap (apparently windows 98 isn't available anymore, assholes.  And i finally get used to XP AND NOW THEY WONT SELL ME XP AND FORCE VISTA) and there bringing out a BETTER one in a few months?I sodding hate life. |

Glad you guys liked the article! The official Public Beta build 7000 should be out sometime this month, be sure to check it out if you're interested. Not too much has changed since I reviewed it in the article, maybe just a bit speedier since the earlier builds. From what I've read, here are the requirements Code: Windows 7 Requirements Leaked. For the Basic Windows 7 * 1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor * 512 MB of system memory * 20 GB hard drive with at least 15 GB of available space * Support for DirectX 9 graphics and 32 MB of graphics memory * DVD-ROM drive * Audio Output * Internet access And Code: For the Premium Windows 7 * 1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor * 1 GB of system memory * 40 GB hard drive with at least 15 GB of available space * Support for DirectX 9 graphics with: o WDDM Driver o 128 MB of graphics memory (minimum) o Pixel Shader 2.0 in hardware o 32 bits per pixel * DVD-ROM drive * Audio Output * Internet access (fees may apply) Found via this forum. In either case, the requirements are not overwhelming whatsoever. |
