I really enjoyed the Tech articles. It'd be amazing if RS were under the GPL. If it were open-source, there'd probably be better interaction between clans and members themselves. Ah, if only Jagex would consider it. The Hunter skill article was nicely done, too. An overall good issue. |

The part I'm concerned is now that there will be tons of different versions of Java, which may require different virtual machines. From my perspective, companies do keep their things closed source to maintain the quality of the product and the security as well. I'd imagine if Jagex released its Runescape source, anyone can find an exploit and basically hack the game. |

I was quite impressed with this month's issue. Shane's article was nothing new to me, although im sure it may have interested many other people. Alex 43, as always, provided a very good article on boredom, and I did find the translation article quite amusing. The article on OSx86 i read with frantic interest. I have a sufficient chunk of hard drive free and I could install OSx86, although the article was not particularly useful for me. You state it is possible to install on AMD motherboards.... although dont actually explain how. You mentioned nVidia graphics cards, apparently ignoring ATi ones. This was not helpful for me, since I have both an AMD motherboard and an ATi graphics card; and im sure many others use ATi and AMD. |

Quote: isn't that " Your are for really screwed becouse i can beat you " That's part of the joke. Since when do you find something untranslatable in a translation guide? Unfortunately for me, I ran out of things to say about anti-boredom, so expect my next article to portray something entirely different. And yes, I'm sure the majority of us has an ATi video card. This is for that 0.001% of people out there without. Would it be proper for Jagex to leave out the fact you fight a level 167 monster in a quest because the majority can easily handle it? JUST in case. And for the record, I was interested in Shane's article. |

This is the only month you haven't criticized me ![]() Well anyways they were all nicely done. The Anti-Boredom articles are nicely done. I get a good laugh out of those. The economy articles are a bit off in price. Maybe you should double check them before you submit it? But good articles guys ![]() |

Unfortunatly, I dont know of ATI drivers ![]() AMD is almost the same, but some patches come for Intel only. And MasterOfTheVortex, I also have an AtI and AMD board. AntiBordom plOx! |

Another great issue. The tech article was interesting, and as a non-memmber, the Hunter one was great aswell because of the fact it thoroughly explained the skill to someone who had never tried it. Keep up the good work guys. ![]() |

![]() But yeah.. I wrote that article and I am a member ![]() ![]() Sorry, I should have phrased that differently. I meant to say that because I'm a non-member and have never trained Hunter, your article explained the skill well to me. It's a good article. ![]() |
