There isn't much to say about the Mining guild because you can only mine coal and mithril ore there. But it's the best place to mine coal in the whole RuneScape. With only 20-50 seconds walking to the bank.

There are:
37 coal rocks (40 mining needed)
5 mithril rocks (50 mining needed)

Here you can see a map how the place looks like and where to find everything.

also, it's better to mine in crowded worlds, like world1,2,etc..., because the coal refreshes very fast and u dont have to walk from one side to the other for 1 lump of coal

You can also enter the Mining Guild through the Dwarfen Mines. Make a little map of the Fally stairs down to the Mines and a line to the Door thing.

You can also mine coal at level 30, last I checked...

And whether it is the best spot to mine coal or not is questionable. Even though it's got 37 coal rocks close to a bank, it may take you longer to get a full load in the guild than if you mine just outside the guild. When in the guild, you're competing with a few uber miners...when outside the guild, you really only have people below level 60 to compete with...which pretty much makes you the best miner in the area...so longer walk to bank is made up for by less time spent mining the ore.

I like the maps though, so this is a good guide. I have written a detailed mining guide for anyone interested in that...(somewhere on these forums)

Yeah also, it's 55 Mining for Mithril.

Other than that, it's a darn good guide.
