Note: I no longer play RS, so this is based on my past knowledge. Any 'donations' of pictures or information is welcome, and I will credit you for it.

The Barrows

-Found just east of Mort'ton
-The graveyard of the six brothers who were heroes before they were cursed to death
-Great place for people who have a lot of luck

Things to bring

-SPADE, never forget this
-Food, preferably sharks
-10 gp if you are returning to the bank by boat, not really needed because you get coin loots often
-Prayer potions
-Noted food and potions if you plan to unnote them at Mort'ton General Store
-Runes if you are using magic
-Teleport runes for emergency exits

How to kill

=Magic
-Advised to mage on the melee brothers
-Set up your gear OUTSIDE the tomb, then when you are ready, go down and then put on your prayer on and start maging, or if you are using ancient magicks, freeze the brother first and get a distance from him before maging
-Pay full attention to your HP/prayer points and heal/pot up when you need to

=Ranged
-Not advised to range as most brothers here have high ranged defence, but most advised to use when on the mage brother
-Set up you gear OUTSIDE the tomb, when you are ready, go down and put your prayer on and start ranging
-Pay full attention to your HP/prayer points and heal/pot up when you need to

=Melee
-Advised to melee on the archer brother
-Set up your gear OUTSIDE the tomb, when you are ready, go down and put your prayer on and attack!
-Pay full attention to your HP/prayer points and heal/pot up when you need to

When you killed the five brothers, go down the tunnel at the sixth brother's tomb

Inside the tunnel, to the chest

-Most adviced to fight using melee style
-Only pot up if you have to kill the sixth brother
-Hide behind the other side of a door when you meet your sixth brother
-Get your gear and when ready, go back to the side with the brother, and start killing him, remember to pray if you want to
-If you want to train a while, get your melee gear and start to KILL KILL KILL!!

Advices/tips

-Combat level of above 80 is most adviced for ensured survival
-Magic attacks are adviced
-Prayer potions are good for you
-The spade does wonders

Optional things to do

-Complete "Shades of Mort'ton" quest, and use permanent serum on the general store owner if you want to do multiple trips non-stop
-Complete "In search of the Myreque" for a shortcut to Mort'ton
-Get 55 slayer and use the magic dart spell, it's convinient against the brothers as they use cheap runes yet decent damage
-Bring a bow along with Adam/Rune arrows to kill the mage fast

Hope you like it. I have a feeling I missed out a lot of stuff, tell me so I could add them in, thanks. If you want to, I will maybe make another but without point form.

I have found that mage actually works alot better than melee on Karil.

One thing not many people notice

If you're not sure which brother you're about to fight, look closely at the sarcofogus (sp?). At the top, the helmet of the brother is carved on. Familiarize yourself with the brother's helmets and you will always know.

Also, for the ranger- If you don't have a decent STAB weapon (preferably dragon dagger, or dragon longsword) use magic against Karil. It may seem a bit stupid, but I've seen a magic dart user kill Karil faster than a whip user. Stabbing weapons recommended.

For just general magic try to bring the following-
Slayer Staff/Ancient staff
Full Ahrim/Mystic
A god book (Zamorak or Guthix)
A god cape
