Druidic Ritual
To start using the Herblore skill, you will need to ask for some training from the druids. However, they require some help with a ritual before they will help you.
Getting Started
Requirements: Withstand blows from Suits of Armour (Level 19) and Skeletons (Level 22)
Length: Less than 20 minutes
Items: Raw Beaf, Chicken, Bear, and Rat Meat.
The Stone Circle
To begin the quest, speak to Kaqemeex (pronounced Cake Mix), who is located at the Stone Circle north of Taverly. He explains how the Stone Circle used to belong to the druids, but now it has been stolen by the Wizards. Ask if you can help, and he tells you to go speak with Sanfew.
Collecting the Meats
Sanfew can be found upstairs in the large Herblore shop in Taverly. He asks you to get 4 different types of raw meat: beef, chicken, bear, and rat and dip them in the Cauldron of Thunder.
You can get the four meats by buying them from other players or at the Grand Exchange, or you could kill the closest animals that drop them:
Beef: Closest cows are south of Falador. They are level 2.
Chicken: Closest chicken is in Falador Castle. They are level 1.
Bear: Closest bear is near Ice Mountain. They are level 19.
Rat: Closest rat is in Port Sarim. They are level 2.
Cauldron of Thunder
Once you have the 4 meats, head south of Taverly until you find a ladder. Climb down the ladder and you will find yourself in the Taverly Dungeon. Head north past the skeletons until you reach 2 suits of armor. Click on the gate near them, and the suits of armor will come to life and start attacking you. To save some time, just keep clicking on the gate and head into the big room.
Dip your four meats into the cauldron, and then quickly run out of the dungeon.
Go back and talk to Sanfew and then Kaqemeex. Quest Complete!
