Where can I start this quest? Witchaven, east of Ardougne
What skills do I need? 30 Firemaking.
What items will I need? Swamp paste (can be bought in Port Khazard or made using flour with tar from Lumbridge swamp and cooking it), an axe, and a tinderbox.
Reward:1 quest point, Oyster pearls, and 7,175 Fishing XP
To start this quest speak to Caroline.
Speak to Caroline, she'll tell you what she's worried about. She'll tell you Holgart will take you to the fishing platform.
Speak with Holgart, he'll tell you his boat needs swamp paste to be repaired. If you have some in your inventory (which you should) he will take it automatically.
Talk to him again to go to the fishing platform.
Walk to Bailey and he will tell you about Kent's son, Kennith, who will be upstairs. He also tells you that Kent left to find help.
Climb the ladder on the map and head west into the building. You will see Kennith behind some crates. Speak to him about what's going on.
Go back to Holgart and he will take you to Kent.
Talk to Kent and you'll find out what happened.
Go back to the fishing platform by talking to Holgart. When you try to get to Kennith, the fishermen will hit you.
You'll have to find a way to scare the slugs. Speak with Bailey, he will tell you the slugs are scared of fire and give you a torch. Pick up the broken glass in the building and then pick up the damp sticks near the ladder.
Use the broken glass with the sticks to get dry sticks.
Rub the sticks together to light your torch.
Climb up the ladder once again and talk to Kennith. Kick the wall outside of the building Kennith is in and talk to him again. He'll come out now when you find a way to get him downstairs.
Rotate the crain and Kennith will jump on.
Speak with Holgart and go back to Witchaven!
Talk to Caroline to get your reward.
