Plague City - Member's Only Quest

1 Bar of Chocolate,
1 Bucket of Milk,
4 Buckets of Water,
1 Dwellberry,
1 Pestle and Mortar,
1 Rope,
1 Snape Grass,

10 minutes if you have all the items upon starting.
Rewards:
1 quest point, 2425 mining experience and a Magic Scroll which will teach you the Ardougne teleport.

It would be a good idea to collect all the items you need for this quest before you start, since you will be entering an area without a bank and staying there until you have finished the quest. Here is where you can get them;
1 Bar of Chocolate: Can be bought at Port Sarim food shop, and the Grand Tree.
1 Bucket of Milk: Simply get a bucket and use it on a Dairy Cow, like the one in eastern Lumbridge.
4 Buckets of Water: Use four empty buckets on a water source such as a fountain or water pump.
1 Bunch of Dwellberries: Can be found in McGruber’s Woods, there are Lv44 dogs in this area which are aggressive, so you may need food if you are of a lower level.
1 Pestle and Mortar: Can be bought from any Herblaw shop, such as the one in Taverly.
1 Rope: Bought from Ned in Draynor or Ardougne General Store.
1 Snape Grass: Can be found on the peninsula near the crafting guild.
1 Spade: Can be found within the estate agent’s house in Falador.

First of all, use your pestle of mortar on your chocolate. This will turn it into dust, and will stop you from accidentally eating it during the quest.
You will find the quest starting point slightly north west of the bar in western Ardougne, talk to a man named Edmond.
When you get a choice of to say, “What’s happened to her?” or “Well, good luck on finding her”, select the first choice. You’ll then be given another choice of what to say, select “Can I help find her?” and you’ll start the quest.
You’ll be sent to McGruber’s woods to get some Dwellberries next, which is directly west of seers village, and north of Ardougne. There is an entrance on the north side of the fence you can get in to. However, if you already have them, you can simply just walk inside the house and speak to Edmund’s wife, Alrena.
Alrena will give you a gasmask; she will also tell you she has made a spare one, hidden in her cupboard in case you lose that one.
Pick up a picture of Elena from the other room, it should be on a table.
Go back to Edmund and talk to him. He’ll tell you that you’ll need to soak the ground of his garden with four buckets of water. There is a bucket and spade here in case you haven’t already got some, as well as a water source inside Edmund’s house.
When the soil is soft enough to dig into, walk on top of the space and dig with your spade. You will fall through the ground into the Ardougne sewers.
Find Edmund, and speak to him. He should be south of where you land, but he does move around a lot. He’ll tell you that he thinks the south pipe leads to West Ardougne.
Head south to the pipe, and try to open the grill, you will be unable to, so go back to Edmund.
Edmund will tell you to attach some rope to the grill, so both you and he can pull it off together. If you have your rope with you, simply use it on the grill. If not, you’ll have to head back to the bank by climbing the Mud Pile to the north of the pipe.
When you’ve done that, go back to Edmund and tell him what you’ve done. You’ll proceed to a short cut scene where you’ll pull the grill off the pipe.
You will have to now wear your gasmask, put it on, and enter the pipe. You’ll arrive in West Ardougne. As Edmund told you, you’ll now be looking for Jethick, who is found slightly east of the pipe you’ve just climbed up.
To save a few seconds of time, use the picture of Elena you picked up earlier on Jezzick. You’ll be told to go north to the Rehnison family home. You’ll need to return the book Jezzick asks you to, so remember to take that.
You’ll be greeted warmly when you try to open the door.
Once inside the house, speak to Ted, and then head upstairs and talk to Milli. She will tell you that Elena was kidnapped in the south-western part of West Ardougne.
The place you have to go to now, is south of the altar. You’ll notice the building on the minimap by seeing a medium-sized black rectangle, which represents stairs. Head there, and try to open the door.
A mourner nearby will ask you to step away from the door. Tell him, “But I think a kidnap victim is in there”, and after that, “I want to check anyway”. You will be told to get clearance from Bravek, the city warder. He can be found in the large house in the center of the city. Talk to the clerk there, and ask for clearance into a plague house.
Say the following things;
“I need to get into a plague house”
“Surely you don’t let the mourners do everything for you?”
“This is urgent though!”
You will be allowed entrance into Bravek’s room. He’ll complain about a hangover, ask him about the cure and you’ll get a list.
You’ll now need to add the chocolate dust you have to the milk, then add the snape grass. You’ll now have a hangover cure. Talk to Bravek again. Tell him that the mourners won’t listen to you, and he’ll give you a warrant to enter the plague house. Now head back to the southern, boarded up house you were at earlier.
Try to open the door, you’ll eventually sneak in. Head downstairs. You’ll find Elena, try to open the door and she’ll tell you she heard the mourners stash the key somewhere. You’ll find it in a barrel upstairs. You’ll now be able to open the door.
Head back to Edmund in the Ardougne Sewers, and then you’ll have finished the quest! Congratulations! P.S: No comments on my quest points.
