Post subject:  The Free-Play Prayer Guide (Complete)

Of course, prayer is a pain in the bucket right?
It's especially hard without the dragon bones and the ectofungus.. So I decided to help you all out while I was surfing through the forums.
I'll try with the best of my ability to help you all to raise your prayer.
First of, you've got to know the types of bones available to you in the free-play world!
Types of Bones/Experience per bone
Burnt/Regular Bones/4.5 Exp

Monkey Bones/5 Exp
Big Bones/15 Exp

Wow.. That was short wasn't it? 8)
Now here are the best ways to get the types of bones.

Ways to get the bones with combat!
Burnt/Regular Bones (Reg Bones dropped by all monsters except ice warriors, imps, and demons)- The burnt bones are found in the wilderness near the greaters (Thanks Southrend) and they're a bit harder to find. People often say it's rare and try to scam. [I've experienced it before.. Lol]
- As for the Regular bones, I'd say the best place to get them would be the chicken places. People only kill them for feathers, so it would be a few minutes before you get your 28 bones to bury!
Also, you can 1-hit chickens very often if you have 50+ Strength so it would be fairly quick.
Same thing goes to cows. [Not crafting guild, it's usually empty]

Monkey Bones (Dropped by Monkeys)- Only found in Karamja.. Very slow as you have to walk around trees and there are only a few of them. I wouldn't suggest getting these..

Big Bones (Dropped by Giants)- For quickness, I would suggest Hill Giants in the Edgeville dungeon. If you're 60+ Combat, you can kill these very easily with no hassle, keep killing until you have a full invent and just bury them. Ranging them is also quite easy.

NOTE:You'll need a brass key to go through the door!

If you want decent combat exp, go to Crandor's Moss Giants or Varrock's sewers. [The sewers are multi-combat and you won't get as much exp/bones.]

Now that was a bit longer.. :) Moving on..

Ways to get bones with money!
Burnt/Regular Bones - Buy the regular bones for 1 gp each from someone who spends lots of time getting the bones.. LoL Good Luck on THAT! [Sarcasm] They won't be very common in the runescape world so post on forums or something to find someone dedicated enough to get them for you.
I wouldn't suggest buying burnt bones because people will demand higher prices since it's found in the wild.

Monkey Bones - What can I say? Not worth it! Too much of a hassle to bank it let alone buy it from someone!

Big Bones - The most popular type of bone in the market! Wow.. Well you can buy these for 250-300 gp each as these are the common prices nowadays. Most people sell in Varrock West Bank since it's very close to the hill giants.

Weeeee, I think I'm done..
Nevermind, here's the TIPS section on the prayers!!
[Also the Extra Info bit]

TIPS and Extra Info!!
-The prayer guild [Second floor of the monastery is available for people with 31+ prayer. The Monk's robes (Top and Bottom) can be found there.
Image
Praying in there will give you a +2 Prayer boost.
Example : If your prayer is just 31/31, it will boost your prayer to 33/31.

-Certain types of clothing/accessories can give you a prayer boost.
The Mace gives you a prayer boost, and the monk robes, and holy symbols give you a prayer boost too.

[Just a glimpse of what your bonus is when you wear Monk's Robes..etc.]
-To raise your prayer, just bury every single bone you can find! Plain and simple. Also always use your lamps from the genies on your prayer levels until your desired level.

That's all folks! Happy praying!

One small addition: Burnt bones can only be found in wilderniss at the greaters not at the graveyard. And we like pictures to support your guide :D Maybe add some. For the rest it's a really nice guide.

I'm sorry to tell you but we can't use this pictures. They are .jpg's and we got a sticky on that: http://rsbandb.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=20332
They have to be .png so I hoped you have the uncompressed images still on your comp otherwise we can't use them and your time would have been wasted :(

And again I'm sorry to tell that it's not correct. You needed the original images to png. Not the jpg-pictures to png because if you do that the images are still blurry.

here take this example: Image
if you look around the text closely you see it's all blurry and ugly.
