Dear Shane and ChiefSnake: I've been listening to your RSBandB Update podcast for a few months now and I'm a real fan. I really like the laid-back style the show has and I appreciate the tips you give when you answer questions. My question is: Have you ever trained combinations of skills together, and what combinations have you found to be effective or unusual?. For example, the obvious combination of mining ore, smelting using the magic spell superheat, and smithing into armour trains three skills at once. Farming and herblore are also an obvious combination. One of my favourites is the process I use to make air battlestaves (which you mentioned last week as a good way to train crafting) from scratch. Collecting sand from Bert in Yanille, buying seaweed from Arhein in Catherby, using the Lunar spell superglass make to make molten glass, blowing orbs, collecting the free essence from Wizard Comperty in Ardougne, runecrafting the cosmics (I need to charge the air orbs) and nature runes (for high level alchemy of the finished battlestaves), buying my allotment of battlestaves from Zaff in Varrock, crafting the staffs and finally HLA. This not only trains many skills but make a sweet 2300 gp profit for each staff. Yes, it's slower than some other methods of making money or training individual skills, but I believe that working on multiple skills together, with the added bonus of making money, is really the way to go. Shane and Brad 2.0.3 (Upgrade again!) I got the mining stones again right after I died so no worries!  Questions! #1 what is you favorite flash game website? Mine is Kongregate.com because it is where I Have been for years and now have my own dress up game I made for my sister up there it has a 2.25/2.50ish (my account name is Des_Zac) #2 Shane, Do you have any flash games (or any coding games) on a site? If not can you put them on a site? #3 (This was my idea for the new skill) If you could tame one npc (And no it can't be a human) what would you tame and why? Thanks, Des_Zac |

Hey Hosts, Whats the most useful little message you've gotten when you logged in? By that I mean that little message under the log in option, which is currently in the lobby, if you need more location its the place with the face which you get when you talk to a npc. I came up with this because this weeks just informed me that the 'tab' button lets me reply to private messages instantly. ~Bloody Scene |

Hello Shane and Chief, Just a quick question: I know in a previous episode, Shane mentioned that saving an image as a JPEG in MS Paint was a recipe for disaster. I have, of course, experienced this myself. Just curious if either of you know the cause of this, as JPEG's save fine out of Photoshop? - Directxfire |
