Granted there were no game updates this week but the announcement of a restoration of pk'ing across the entire Runescape world. We were also kept busy with 3 audio questions, thanks to those who sent them in.

Though Audiobooks aren't the *same* as reading, I would still say I had read the book. I've listened to four or five books so far, and I've probably got the same retention from listening as reading. I know it literally isn't reading, but considering I've listened to books instead of music while working, I'd say I came out with a better knowledge of some decent books than I would have otherwise.

Hobo hotel would be quite interesting..I've played Habbo hotel, and I'd go back for a bit if bum fights were commonplace.

Oops.. practically had the same question as Kirby #-o but he had a nice article so it's all good. An audiobook .. not literally reading but you might get the same idea as reading it, depends on the person I suppose.

Listening to audiobooks is NOT reading...it's like listening to a parent TELLING you a bedtime story!! You are not reading your mother are you? Good show though

EDIT: oh, and the dictionary definition of reading requires text. So thus an audiobook is not reading by definition

It's reading. It takes a lot of concentrating to listen to the audio books.

listening to an audio book is N0T reading....its like listening to a song and sayng..oh..i read that song..no. and other then that audio books stink..listening to old people read boring books is not as fun as like watching movies/listening to music on ipod

Listening to audio books is not reading, but it sure gets through the book a lot quicker. I heard a fire truck alarm through the middle of the podcast. :P

Brad, I heard that a revolver was coming out on the Jagex Store. And also about Alchemy, there MIGHT actually be an Alchemist skill.

In the Betrayal at Falador, a character named Ebeneezer, nicknamed "The Alchemist" and he makings all sorts of bombs and useful things that probably has to deal with Herblore.

sorry, ive looked at your goal signatures (like you told me to do in the podcast) and I'm gunna have to stick with my current ones. i would love to use yours but
1) I Like the color and pattern, which i cannot get on your site.
2) the goal sigs match up with my stat sigs in pattern
3) Your goal signatures have those little squares that fill in, as opposed to one bar with a percentage.

I think id love to use yours but i just dont like the layout with those squares that fill in, if you maybe introduced some new patterns (cool looking ones, with a percentage bar instead) I would be glad to use yours.

Thanks for the computer advice tho, ill have to go get a mac.

I usually get the book, and because my attention span is so bad, I like to get the audio recording and read along with it. :oops:

But audio books aren't the same as reading, it's listening.

You don't say "Oh, I'm reading the radio"
