Well it's definately nice to have an update to discuss. So we'll get started...

Topics Discussed:
  • Visit the Moon Clan, find out what happened to the Fairy Queen, raid pyramids, unlock a whole new spell list, craft a new range of crossbows and bolts, and use magic fairy rings to teleport about the map.
  • Security and F2p update. Unlocks 4 new emotes which are actually ok
  • Fancy or fighting boots with both the same stats.
  • The brewing mini game, basically help with making bottles of rum. Get ingredients from all over the game area. You must have completed the cabin fever quest.
  • New slayer monster, Cave Horrors level 80 slayer 58 required. 15% attack & strength bonus if you are training slayer.
  • Bee-hive event. If successful: get some flax otherwise, jump to a random body of water.
  • Regarding linux, after a failed install windows refuses to start. You should check out http://www.linuxforums.org or http://www.linuxquestions.org/ if it is still broken private message me.
  • For farming keep doing allotment until you can plant fruit and normal trees.
  • Here are some places to get star trek wallpapers/renders. http://www.thelightworks.com and http://www.scifi-meshes.com
  • Something rather interesting this week called net neutrality which I have been watching for a while now. Basically it proposed an ammendment that would make all internet packets equal. "The provisions didn't prohibit an ISP from handling VOIP faster than emails, but would have made it illegal to handle its own VOIP packets faster than a competitor's." Then there's something else called packet shaping which is when a certain protocol or file type is given priority over another. This is not really fair. The Article
  • The Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) piracy check will not be phoning home every day anymore. The Article
  • A new OS X exploit which allows someone to run as the root user has been put out. There is no real problem provided people have upgraded to 10.4.7 The Article
  • Here's some free opensource software.
  • The Rants!
  • Shane got 1600 total. Brad got 85 mage and is now working on ranged :)
  • You spaz out when you make teleport tablets.
  • Also figure out what OS you are. With this quiz.
