Episode 46 is here, this week we have Brad on, as Pika is busy studying for school exams.
Topics Discussed:
  • Swan Song quest, in this quest you will help a fishing village against some viscous trolls. This is a fishing colony you are helping. But you will be getting help on this quest from that guy in Draynore wise old man. He will help you greatly throughout the quest. It was a good quest. The cutscenes were good!
  • 15k Magic Xp, 10k Prayer xp, 10k Fishing xp & 25k Gp

  • BTS May is out. Revealing something that would have otherwise gone un-noticed. A major update to the runescape engine. This sounds pretty good.
  • A second quest will revive that island up north known as Miscellanea and Etcetera. We may be suprised at what they will offer us...
  • Clockwork toys for your cats, teleportation tablets, making your own cups of tea and even chairs you can sit down in.

  • Vista is late. It will not be released as expected in January 2007 for retail and November this year for mass volume. So it looks like there will be no vista pc's under the tree this year. It was oringally set for a 2005 launch which was pushed back to late 2006, which was pushed to early 2007, now the target is Quater 2 of 2007(April to June). One year from now. It should take 9-12 months to reach production after Beta 2 comes out. Which is targetted for sometime in June. "Windows XP took five months to go from a second test release to the start of production, but the magnitude of technological improvement in Vista is closer to Windows 2000, which took 16 months between the second test and production." Microsoft shares took a tumble last friday and are down again.

  • The awaited Nintendo revolution has been renamed too...Wii. The logic is that it will be a short name, which is memorable and prouncable in most languages. Means yes in french. Looks to be a good episode, I'll finish downloading then edit later 8)

~EDIT~ Wewt, my being a male has made headlines! (so to speak) Good episode, but it was too bad only two people asked questions :roll: Can't wait to find my Wii under the Christmas tree...Then everyone will want to play with it :lol: (Everyone I told just had to make some comment about the Wii..definately memorable :lol: )
