Post subject:  RSBANDBUpdate! Episode 39 - Partial Pika Existence - PPE
Episode 39 is here with Nate and Partial Pika Existence (PPE). Anyways here goes:
  • The runescape knowledge base. Packed with hints+tips about the game and answers to your gameplay and technical questions. With over 150,000 words, hundreds of pages and thousands of images, there's lots of information to improve your RuneScape? experience. Looks like they are wanting to put fan sites out of business. It does have some good info in it, info you otherwise would have, had to goto other place to other places to get it. Good for those who don't like to goto fansites. We can get quest rewards from there now.

  • Recipe for Disaster. A short quest in reality... You do one main quest then you get access to the subquests. The dwarf, goblin generals, pirate pete, lumbridge guide, evil dave, Skrach Uglogwee, Sir Amik Varze, Awowogei, and finally Culinaromancer. I've done dwarf, goblins, and am working on evil dave with my little cat. Lots of new equipment and ways to get around. Definately a good way to bring in the 100th quest.     • This gypsy stops time as everyone is about to be killed by Culinaromancer. And when you leave the room to talk to the various people they say that you helped them last week. Meaning that you did the main quest, went in the room, you went back in time. But if you went back in time when you entered the room, it would make sense that when youleave the room the quests would be done. Time travel makes the head hurt right?
  • Hellcats can't be reversed and you have no choice. Pretty good week so far.

  • Gaming is all work and not play. Some people such as some on this site spend as much time playing as they do other things. The point here is that it is not all about playing and having no life. It involves socializing with other people! We noticed was that, rather than forfeiting existing friendships, teenagers logging into the game environment are actually adding to their group of friends.

    This was because they meet different groups in different, virtual, meeting spaces.

  • It's official! Maybe... It seems as though microsoft can not make up their mind. This post: http://blogs.msdn.com/conblog/archive/2006/03/14/550826.aspx It previously said november but now it says in the second half of the year. Does this mean earlier for once? I don't know. But it is official. or rather was official.
  • A foil like material was used on the cpu's of the xbox 360 rather than a simple thermal paste. The idea behind it was to be simpler but it is causing the problems. It is not in too many of them microsoft says to issue a recall. They are dealing with it on a case by case basis. Return rate is below the average of 3-5%. So i guess you guys can go buy one now. Oh, and I saw where you said that hellcats aren't reverseable..they are. Try to talk to Evil Dave's Mother. She'll offer to give it some normal milk, which will reverse the hell-catty-ness. :D

You can still have clues dropped if you have one.. but you can't pick it up.

Oh, so I had bad luck on blue dragons to. I killed alot and didn't have a clue, then later i noticed i had a clue in my bank. After doing it I got a clue a little while later.

Level 3 clues are just hard to get, unless you're mike. I've never gotten clues from them aswell. Just guards and man. :P
