That's every week isn't it?

I think a products themed week would be cool, represent a certain type of product in your sig. Like cereal or something, would be interesting to see what people can accomplish. Would be pretty tough too.

What I meant was everyone would have to use a render from a video-game that's for like the Wii, Xbox 360, or PS3. Like Halo and stuff.

I don't see that happening... I'm feeling a little threatened by Humus though. :(

That was your argument right? You wanted judges returned?

If you can find me 10 sufficiently qualified community members who would make not only good SOTW Judges, but good staff, and would not make competition participation any worse off for it, I don't see any reason why judges could not be brought back apart from the enormous hassle it would cause. At very least we would be able to admit that we were wrong, but at this point, staff involved in the decision to make SOTW as it is now still stand behind that decision and we truly believe this is the best we can do. It's not like we've set out to just scrap the whole thing; if that were the case it'd already have been taken away.

When it comes down to it, participation was so bad even with judges that it's either SOTW as it is now, or no SOTW, as I've been informed. I don't want to see it go, but I must say even myself that it's looking like there's no other option. It doesn't help that community members are deliberately casting biased votes in order to make it look like this isn't working, because there's little reason why it shouldn't.

Discussion should've ended on this particular subject long ago, but if anyone would like to contribute ideas on what we can do to improve, please be my guest. ;)
