hi guys just wanna ask what graphics card would suit me for playing some fps games ? it seems that most of you run on raedeon's 6*** series , also how much ram too ? i got 2 slots to play with that. btw is a 550 W power supply enough to run it? thanks all morumska

What fps games specifically? Most cards these days are 1GB. Pretty sure 550W should be fine. |

I ran a whole system and a GPU on like 450 W and everything worked perfectly. As which GPU to run, what is your price range and can you give examples of games? |

well i want to play dayz a mod for a old game but i might get the latest counter strike when it comes out =) also price range is about 150, as i have to get some ram as well (only have one 2 gb stick lol). |

You are better off getting either A-RAM 2x4GB 1333Mhz or A-RAM 2x4GB 1600Mhz (if your motherboard can handle it) As for a video card Sapphire Radeon HD 6670 (comes with Dirt 3) |

Whenever you're looking at a graphics card, check out TomsHardware. They do monthly roundups for SSDs, gaming CPUs, and graphics cards. Here's the June 2012 Best GPU for the money article. Keep in mind that this doesn't include various sales, so it's just a general guide. At the $100 price point, you'll play the games mentioned at 1080p with maxed out settings. That'll likely be a Radeon HD 7750 or Radeon HD 6770/5770, or perhaps a GeForce GT 440 GDDR5 version. At the $150 level, you're looking at a Radeon HD 6850 or perhaps a GeForce GTX 560 SE. At the $150 price point, you'll be able to play most games at 1080p with good settings if not nearly maxed out, at least with games that are currently released. |

Ah ok, the updated suggestion was only slightly faster than the previous one and $15 cheaper but it didn't come with dirt 3 (which currently costs $50.00 on steam). |

I don't like DIRT 3 too much because it isn't a simulator like the original DIRT was but if you like arcade racing games DIRT 3 is sure to keep you occupied. |
