Post subject:  What are your favorite IOS Apps?

Recently I was given an IPod Touch 4g. This was my first exposure to IOS, so, When I first started using the IPod Touch, I went crazy downloading every free app I could find. I quickly suffered "app overload" and was overwhelmed. I ended up deleted most of the apps I downloaded, finding most of them a waste of space, lol, and have settled upon a selection of apps that are useful to me.

Here is a small selection of the apps I use most:

1) Podcaster.fm - this is the only app I've purchased so far. I find it very useful for automatically downloading podcasts directly to my IPod. (I'm up to over 2 dozen podcast feeds now, lol).

2) MLB.TV - I'm a huge baseball fan, enough said.

3) Flipboard - I great way to browse web content. I use to use Google Reader for most of my daily rss feeds, now I use this.

4) IheartRadio - Mostly useful for me to listen to an AM radio station in Cincinnati, Ohio. I'm from Ohio and now live in Pennsylvania, so it gives me a feeling of being back home.

5) Logmein.com - Since I frequently need to connect to my computer at work, this is a huge help when I'm already tucked into bed, lol. I also take the IPod to work and frequently use a Telnet app to connect to the server there and do quick fixes on the spot.

6) Pocket - For bookmarking web content that I want to check out later.

Of course I have lots of other apps in Folders that I still need to test, including Entertainment apps like Netflix,Hulu, and Crackle, I have apps for three cloud storage services so far, Dropbox, Skydrive, and Box.net. I'm really not that into IOS gaming yet, aside form a few games of angry birds, and I don't use Social media, so Facebook and Twitter are not on my IPod.

So, What IOS apps do you use most or find the most useful?

Shazam. It's very nice to be able to find out what a song is without having to know any information about it. App does all the work for you.

Facebook, or Weatherbug. Seems like the two apps I use the most.

First off, iPod 4th gen is really laggy now.

Instapaper for its superior reading experience. *Better than pocket*
Tweetbot for twitter, despite the lack of long tweeting (140+) and somewhat "stuck up" developers.
Tweetlogix for twitter, for when tweetbot ***** me off.
Feeddler for RSS, supports instapaper and uses google reader
iCatcher for podcasts (and other imported audio). - Seriously the best out here. Not kidding try it, its better than what you are using.
Alarm clock pro for waking my *** up, most of the time.
Pandora

Jailbreak: (no piracy)

SBSettings for quick ******* settings changing
BiteSMS (free version, ads in app) for quick SMS and quick SMS reply. I still use the messages.app for conversations. Use this for quick reply.
Adblocker, block ads in safari (mainly used for web)
Firewall IP to deny outgoing connections, to do things like kill ads (especially in pandora).
Pandora skip hack, allegedly is an awesome tweak for doing awesome stuff.
Twitkafly (or whatever that is) - quick reply to tweet notifications (and facebook too, i think, i dont use) Also supports long tweeting and quick tweet.
Callbar for removing the *** pain out of calling. (doesn't fully compatibalize with the phone.app)
iFile for managing files
Gpsphone plays gameboy games
Folderenhancer for useful folders
infinidock for a useful dock
Shrink to make icons smaller and cleaner

I'll reply with another post If i think of more, or I will just update this one.

StumbleUpon, despite it crashing a ton, it's a great time-killer.

Bike baron is a really fun platformer motorbike thing game. It's really fun and you can create your own levels.
