My old headsets audio is broken so I either need a new headset or headphones (I have a working mic if there are much better headphones for the same price as a headset.) I'm not sure what kind I should get. Any suggestions? I'd like to keep it under $50. Thanks, Darkabyss |

http://store.razerzone.com/store/razerusa/en_US/pd/productID.169415800 Razer Carcharias. It's what I've been using for a year or so now. I really like them a lot and it's always what I recommend. It's nicely padded, the mic and headset go together, it's sturdy (I've dropped it quite a few times), and it's just great. It is $80 on most sites, but definitely worth it in my opinion. Good headphones less than $50 can be hard to come by. As for other brands, I hear Turtle Beach is also good. Didn't like Logitech personally. Edit: Link fix. |

I really can't bring my price up that high yet. With saving up for the new desktop build I don't really want to spend money like that yet. Thank you for the reply though. These seem to have good reviews and they're what I'm looking for. Anyone have experience with them? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826262102 |

This (or the earlier version of this model) is what I've been using for ~3-4 years now. I can comfortably wear them for hours on end, but they did take around a month or so of general use to break in. At first, they did have more "squeeze" on my head than I preferred, but this did correct itself over time. They're also USB, so there is less worry about signal noise from the case / wires. I did have issues regarding this with my laptop, but it was specific to my laptop.. The headset had no issues with either of my desktops. |

I'll consider that one but it does have a lot of negative reviews. What about this? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826153060 |

That one is basically the same as the one I posted a link to earlier, minus the attached microphone. And it's green. But other than that, it's a great headset. |
