Does anyone know a good alternative to DreamWeaver? I am starting to learn more about web dev and I wanted to use a tool. My University has DreamWeaver on their comps but the campus is closed over break. Thanks! |

Eclipse, Aptana Studio (based on Eclipse), or Netbeans. There's also Notepad++ and Vim. They are a lot simpler which could be good depending on what you prefer. I personally use Eclipse because it has a plugin with good support for SVN, and the auto-completion is very good at being aware of other files in your project. It can take a while to set up eclipse to how you like it though because there are so many options. |

I installed Dreamweaver in a virtual machine, and when the trail ran out, I deleted the virtual machine and opened a new VM where it was never installed and ran it again. |
