Unfortunately I am still using internet explorer because my mom doesn't want to download firefox. But that is beside the point. You may have heard of crashie.com, you may not have. But it is a website that crashes IE before IE can load the page. It even has this text on the page: Quote: Using Internet Explorer? There's a good chance you're not reading this. A single line of code embedded in this page crashes most versions of IE. I went to it today and found that IE did not crash wierd. Anybody know why this would happen? If you are using IE, try it for yourself: Close Rs or other unfinished things first |

Most versions of IE 7 and lower. Most computer systems now (hopefully) use IE7. Anyone who is still using IE6 deserves this crash and if not more... The key word being most. I'm guessing that if you're on Vista with Protected Mode it won't crash. It's fine in IE8 as well... Edit: On a far more unsettling note, it's nice that they used JS to crash it and not some ActiveX widget. |
