I made a movie on windows movie maker, how to i make it so that it saves as .wmv, and not the default Windows Movie Maker? I made a clan video for my clan and I need to know which extentions go onto youtube. |

When you open the project, hit file then hit "save movie file". That should save it as a .wmv Hope that helps. |

I thought you were supposed to export the movie by going to file --> publish... |

If you "save as" then you only get the windows movie maker file option lol!! Publish can mean to this computer (as a file, any format ie wmv, avi, mpeg etc) or to a CD, the internet etc. |

no, you need to open the project hit file > save movie file > save to my computer > give it a name and select folder then hit next > then let it save. see screenshots. |
