I'll just come out and admit it. I'm a digital pack rat. I just don't like deleting files. There, I said it. My 500GB drive I bought earlier this year is a piece of ****, though it does work most of the time. I'd like to get a 1TB external or a 1TB external enclosure + drive, though I'm not sure if there would be too much to sway me in either direction at this point other than price. I wouldn't be transporting it too much, but it wouldn't be totally stationary. Any experiences with enclosures, or is it something you just don't recommend? Thanks Pfk |

Enclosures are more useful for reusing existing internal hard drives externally. However, they aren't as portable as a true external hard drive because they don't always offer the stability to be mobile. If you plan to move it around at all I'd suggest buying an external hard drive. |

I like portables caz you can take them with you and share music files like to your friends house and so on, but if you dont plan on doing that then just get on that stays because you will hve a less likely chance of it breaking. |
