Well im oging to mod one of my spare Xbox360 controllers (the one that came with my arcade console that is still in its packaging).

I already know how to add a turbo button and the parts will cost maybe $20 at radio shack. The thing im not sure about though is where to buy Led's to make the buttons light up, would they be sold at a RadioShack? And if so could they be bought in small amounts (maybe ten at the most, 4 for ABXY 4 for the RoL, and 2 spare).

Hopefully this is the right forum, not completely sure though.

Mind you alex, those mods will eat your batteries. LED's can be purchased online, they're almost free.

I already have 3 play & charge battery packs and the play & charge wire. Ive got the batteries covored lol.

And if he can find how to add the turbo mod to a controller more power to him, but Im not sure he will be able to via google. More than likely he will find people selling them. I actually just asked a friend of mine who makes and sells them lol.

Edit: my friend told me i cant tell how and that I would have to install it myself though :(

Edit:Edit: I just googled "how to turbo mod an xbox 360 controller" it mainly came up with people selling the controllers, or a kit (which is a rip off, they just buy what you need put it in a nice wrapper and make profit), or videos demonstrating the controller. I only looked at the first page though, there may be something deep in the realms of google o.O

I wouldn't add a turbo button. I believe now they have a system which checks how fast you 'press' a button. It's also cheating :S

I wouldnt be the person that constantly uses it, only when absolutely needed or in private matches.

I have a turbo controller, it's called my trigger finger. People always ask me if my controller is modded, it's pretty funny. Really it is cheating, but I could care less since I own people with modded controllers cause they're so **** that they have to cheat. But it would be fun to use in private matches...

If you care to read it again, he doesn't have a modded controller. He has the skill wanted by those with the modded controllers, and can beat the people who mod, even without the mod.

If anything, determine if what Sev said is true. If they've got a system, just scrap the idea. Maybe use it for singleplayer campaigns, but usually that doesn't come in handy that much.

I know several people who use them and they havent had anything happen to there accounts so im guessing they dont have a system. I may be wrong though.
