Unfortunately my motherboard only has PCI slots so until I get a new computer (next year) I have to live with the lag.

I got an Nvidia Geforce 6600 512MB.
It very old and can be a bit slow even though its PCI-E and 512MB.
I also overclocked it.

NVIDIA Quadro FX 570M. Notebook graphics card, works well for me. Suppose if I waited a year (**** me for not having to repeat any school years) I could have doubled the memory to 512MB, but it does everything I need it to.

ATI Radeon X1600 pro very good card, but i'll upgrade to the newest, I believe HD 4800 series, $199 for it, much better than 8800-9200 Nvidia crap.
