It was an exclusive sale found at best buy that I couldn't pass on. Despite the smaller screen size, which doesn't really matter to me, the price and specs make up for it. I bought it for $800 that was originally $950. When i was talking to the best buy guy about the Dell Inspiron 1521, he said that you cannot play any pc games on it, or hardly, and recommended this laptop. It has a decent video card, better than what was in the Dell. I like the specs a lot as well. I am going to set it up tomorrow and was wondering if it's hard to remove all the junk that is put on there.

Does anyone else here have a HP laptop and if so, what kind?

Whoah!! I love that computer. I don't have an HP or anything, but the specs look pretty decent. I'm so jealous. It looks good and seems like a good computer.

Looks like a pretty nice laptop - and it looks good too :wink: !

I tried looking up the graphics card, just to see what kind of memory it had..I wasn't able to find it quickly, but my Google'ing results showed plenty of other people who loved their laptop! However, they were not impressed with the graphics capability..I'm not sure if they are used to console games, or maybe just used to towers with better graphics, but it doesn't seem that the integrated card will be able to do much gaming.

Want my opinion? GOOD CHOICE! my dell can barely stay together and I probably have a mile long tech support record with Dell. HP's are good though! Plus it looks sweet and nice specs.

I have a HP too but it's Athlon instead of Turion. My CPU uses more battery =(


But that's a good laptop.
