Techinically its 2800Mhz, or 2.8 Ghz If you say 2000Mhz, then it's worse than my processor |

My dream is to get a computer with the following spec: Server motherboard, with 8 processor slots. 8x Dual-Core Intel Xeon Processors, 2.4GHz. 64GB Error-checking and Correcting RAM. 4x 500GB 7200RPM Nested RAID 0-0 HDs, with a total space of 2TB, and a total speed of the equivalent of 28800RPM. 4x ATi FireGL 7350 Graphics cards, 1GB, 512 Bit, with a 22" monitor for each one (yes four monitors) Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound. Software: Windows Vista Enterprise (or maybe Mac OSX), Adobe/Macromedia Web Studio and Video Studio; Cinema4D, probably many more things, too. And all of that is possible, if not rather expensive. It would probably cost about £55000-£65000, i think ($100000-$120000 USD). My dream is better than yours. |

All that stuff is possible NOW. I've found it all, in various places on the internet. I can never remember the sites, but ive seen a package that comes with the motherboard, 4GB ram, and 2 of those processors, but has the space for all the rest of it. The graphics card is here: http://www.ati.com/products/fireglv7350/index.html 500GB HDs are reaily available now, ive seen them on a supplier i use sometimes. Ive just looked at the servers i would have, and most have 18 hard disk slots, so i would have one 4-layer nested tower of RAID0, and one of single RAID0. In the operating system, it will look like two hard drives, one of 8000GB, and the other of 1000GB Code: ---------C----------
