Which internet browser do you use? I use Opera, personally. I dont like FF because its just annoying, IE6 doesnt have tabs, and IE7 looks crap. |

Firefox for me too. Its safe enuff as it is, and works fine for me, i never have any problems with it unlike evil Internet Explorer. I really dont wanna download opera or any other, sick and tired of having different browsers. I stick with firefox. |

Not to start any flames or anything, but what makes you think Firefox is annoying? I use Firefox by the way. I have tried all the browsers listed in the poll actually, including the one from SBC. |

I'm using Firefox since they found that flaw in IE allowing hackers to put malicious files in image files... |

I use maxthon even though it uses shell extensions from ie it is about as safe as firefox and keeps the popup\ads down, it has tabbed browsing and allows you to listen to the rs music unlike firefox, not to say firefox is bad, no its a good browser I use it on my linux pc but I prefer maxthon when on windows even though I have firefox. So I voted other. ![]() |

![]() Its faster than IE: yes, but Opera is even faster than FF. Blocks popups: Yes it blocks more than IE. But it still lets some through. Like for example if you go on songlyrics.com (who have about 7 popups per page) you'll get all 7 in IE, 1 or 2 in FF and none in Opera. Minimised Viruses: There have been more bugs in FF than any other browser for the past 6 months. Downloads faster: Opera is faster. Some other things id like to say: You'll probably mention extensions, and yes i know Opera doesnt have many extensions, but all the extensions you can get for FF that arent completely useless are standard features in Opera. Like Minimise to tray. FF uses Gecko rendering engine. Opera uses Presto. Presto > Gecko. Opera has nicer skins than FF. Opera has a nicer bookmarks section. Opera doesnt reset its features every now and again, which i found intensely annoying. It would keep switching back to its defaults. Yes i know this may be a problem with my comp, but i havent had the problem with Opera yet. My conclusion: Firefox is overpraised. Opera pwns all. ![]() |
