Post subject:  changing chinese to english

i just got the computer back, and of course, the guy who reformatted it installed the chinese writing tool and made everything chinese. problem is i ned to make it back to english for these guys therefore i have find a way to change that. any ideas? i knew it has somethign to do with the control panel

reinstall OS

or go to (XP)

START>CONTROL PANEL>>REGIONAL SETTINGS

or with 2000, 98, 95

START>SETTINGS>CONTROL PANEL>>REGIONAL SETTINGS

You mean the Start Menu and all that is in Chinese? That means he installed with a Chinese CD. For the writing tool, I can help you on that, I'm quite familiar with the Chinese typing system.

try changing the CH in the language bar to EN
