99 Mining the hard way

Post subject:  99 Mining the hard way
So i've decided to go for 99 mining. Mining has always been a favorite skill of mine but i've never had the patience to just sit there and mine all day, but things have changed.

I currently have 69 mining and i'm mining coal and mithril at the mining guild. I am going to get 77 there and then move on the the Living Rock Caverns to mine coal and then once i get 80 i am going to mine gold all the way to 99 :D

I realize this is going to be a long and tiring goal, but the profit i will make is keeping me motivated :lol:

My profits will be about:
77-80= 2.4M
80-99= 52M
So in total about 54M or so
I may smelt the gold ore into bars and then craft the bars into amulets but that's a big IF :D

I'm currently mining at the mining guild. I keep my private and public chat off. Some may think that's crazy because of how bored i may get but i actually just watch TV while i mine so it's all good =)

thanks man :D loll yea that's how i used to be but i have somehow grown to enjoy mining. Also watching TV helps lol

The hard way would be to NOT use the living rock caverns >:(
BUT anyhow, I wish you luck on your journey to 99 mining!
A long and laborious goal, but worthwhile and fulfilling. Grab a laptop if you want to watch TV while mining :P
I'm extremely biased towards mining enthusiasts, it's just a letdown how everyone is using the caverns now...

I dont have the patience to get 99 mining. To be honest, i dont like it all that much. But i wish you luck in getting the mining cape :D

good luck on your goal. I am currently mining as well....only 86, but at least I can mine rune now!!! Woooooot!!

Sounds like a good strategy, but very time consuming and demanding the utmost patience. :P Good luck and hope you can stick to it through the end.

I dont know how long it will take me but i guess its good not to know lol

im currently 74 just about 75 mining. i switch back and forth between coal, pure ess, and granite, for faster XP and more cash =)

nice goal and stuff i will never move my mining level i don't think. i got two words for you while in the ccaverns. DON'T DIE :)
