Preface
As most of you may or may not know, I achieved 99 Runecrafting this past April after 6 months of training. After I got my cape I decided to tackle another uncommon skill. Construction. I had some money leftover from RC so I spent it on planks, played a week or so of Stealing Creation, and went to work in my basement! Once I got to 93 I ran out of money and motivation, thus dropping the skill completely and moving on to training various skills indefinitely. Finally, I am coming back to it in full gear for 2 reasons. Having a level 93 skill hanging over my head is bugging the crap out of me and one of my best friends from RSBandB is also going for 99 Construction, Kelsey. What's with the title of the project, you may ask? Well oak is a very hard and dense wood compared to most other types, and a foundation is obviously the concrete frame beneath a house that provides support. Seeing as I will be making Oak Doors in my basement, I saw this title fitting!
Stage 1: Planking
I'm actually buying all of my planks for around 26m cash. Let's just say 99 Runecrafting comes in handy.
Took me about 2 weeks of double nats.
Kelsey planked all 50k of her logs the traditional way. That deserves some respect!
Stage 2: Stealing Creation
Pretty self-explainatory. Playing SC in order to get enough Clay Hammers to get me to 99. Will require a total of 2300-2400 points.
Stage 3: Oak Doors
Nothing to hide here. Should be about a week or 2 in the dungeon hammering away at the wall.
