Post subject:  Road to full Guthan
Ok i need to get full Guthans. My friend is level 87 and he got it. :x

This is how im planning on doing all this.

My stats to the moment

I have 3.44M right now.

I need 11.8M (I think)

F.Y.I: Im not going to buy any of the recources. Im going to get them myself.

1) Get 44 runecrafting (im at 40) [_]
2) Mine 11k rune essence [_]
3) Craft them into nature runes [_]
4) Cut 11k yews [_]
5) Make 11k bow strings [_]
6) Fletch 11k yew longbows (s) [_]
7) High alchemize all of them [_]

By then i should have all (or near) the money I need.

I know im doing this a very hard way but im mainly doing it for the experience. Me and my friend are best friends in real life but we are like friendly rivals in Runescape.

By doing this I will train Mining, Runecrafting, Woodcutting, Crafting, Fletching, and Mage. And I will still get the armor I want too.

I dont know if youll read this Sk8r_Forevr but, how did you get full Guthans at level 87??!! Tell me!! :x

hard work but im sure you can do it.. im working on getting another set of guthans, first set i got my girl pretty much uses, so now im going for a set of my own.

I would reccomend doing barrows. It's a fast way to make money, even by obtaining runes. During the process, you might also get a little guthan armour of weapon as well :P

Well now that I sold my Torag I have no armor besides red dragonhide and a dragon battle axe :roll: Plus, the last time I went I had Dharok for my tunnel and he hit three hits over fifty on me. Thank Jagex for Sharks. Now im paranoid. :cry:

Good luck :)

If you want a faster way to make money, try doing the Barrows.

I made enough money to buy Guthans in just a few days. And it rocks :D

Barrows is the easier way to go considering it doesn't take as much work to perform it. I'm currently on the road to full Guthans too but I'm doing Barrows for it. And if I don't get it I'll be happy enough if I got 80 Magic out of it. :?

But if you're bold enough to cut that many Yew logs, then go for it.

I dont want to do barrows because if you look at my stats, im a combat noob :roll: Plus me and my friend are always in competition to get higher totals right now (hes winning right now by about points last time I checked).

You can do it if you set your mind to it, just make sure not to chop 11k yews then mine the ess, take a break if you get bored then do the other thing.

I've just bought guthan to, do BARROWS for it. It's way faster then what you are gonna do :wink:

Sounds like a good plan. It will take long though. Mabye by the time you finish doing it the price of guthans will of dropped some. You might make a mil or so profit out of this.
