I quite like the image. The reflections looks pretty good. Though it seems that the dark fusion core is not in operation, perhaps it needs some sort of dark glow. Also the entrance to this room is hard to see and from what I can see it's a pretty thin wall. Other than that it looks quite nice.

It's good to see your 3D-images again.

Nice work.

How long did it take you to make?

And yes, this section of the forums is quite dead now which is a shame because it used to be one of the most active.

It seems that creativity died in here a long time ago.. Well, I've not stopped doing my arts and here's my latest. As the title implies, it's still a WIP and far from being finished but I'm at a stopping point. Spoiler for Large Image: R8 + C+C plZ.

Yeah the reactor's off at the moment, still experimenting with a purple/black particle effect that currently looks like paint which is a shame but it's getting there xD Thanks for the criticisms though I reckon I'll use a somewhat different material for the door and possibly some other details I'll put in later. Well everything in that image, maybe 4 or 5 hours? Rendering took 7. Haha. Had some issues with my comp as of late so I'll actually be able to do more work on it now I've reinstalled windows and gotten past all the BSODs and whatnot I've had to endure

Phwoar I miss these, really brilliant pieces of work. I agree with Southrend about the door, if he hadn't commented about the material (which made me go and try and find a door type thing) I wouldn't have known there was a door there. On a different note, I love the texture of the surface on the top half of the fusion reactor thingy, it looks really grungy and it's perfect for the theme IMO.
