the photo i took was with a lappy webcam, so it had a lot of noise. i didn't like it so i tried messing around with photoshop to make it look less 'noisy' i guess.

after a couple minutes with the smudge tool i decided to mess around with the hairdo as well.

the outcome looked like a painting to me, somewhat akin to those GTA style pictures the way i see it. was sort of cool i guess.

emphasis on myself, not the background or text, heh.

oh yeah, this is my first time actually editing a photo of myself. i don't like editing real life photos, especially photos of myself.

According to photo.net, And i quote

If this photo looks different from the other one, then yes, it's a manipulation of a photo. If you look at the ccentre of the hair, it definitely looks artifical, as does to top, where there are spikes of hair. But bits like the ears and eybrows look, and probably are real.

I'd say it was manipulated, for the reason that the finished version would be different from the original (need original photo to compare). I guess any photo that gets adujsted for better viewing (people on magazine fronts, some newspapers) is heavily edited or manipulated).
